Social Media Community Manager (Part-Time)

We are a home and garden brand built by and for DIY enthusiasts. Our community is where people share their project successes, ask for advice, and find inspiration. We're looking for a part-time Social Media Community Manager to be the heart of this community. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice that turns followers into fans and fosters a supportive space where everyone feels welcome to create.

Your Role in the Community

You will manage our daily social presence and nurture our growing online family.

• Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and tags across our social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok) with a helpful and encouraging tone.
• Develop and schedule engaging social content that sparks conversation, such as project check-ins, tips, and community highlights.
• Identify and celebrate community members who share their projects using our products or following our tutorials.
• Collaborate with our Video Content Producer to promote new DIY tutorials and amplify their reach.
• Help moderate discussions to maintain a positive, respectful, and spam-free environment.
• Gather insights and feedback from the community to share with our product and content teams.

What You Bring

We need someone who is naturally social, empathetic, and passionate about creating online spaces.

• Proven experience managing social media communities, preferably for a lifestyle, hobby, or consumer brand.
• Excellent written communication skills with an authentic and relatable voice.
• Proficiency with social media management tools and a good eye for creating simple graphics in Canva.
• An understanding of the unique cultures and best practices on Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok.
• A genuine interest in home improvement, gardening, or crafts—you should be excited to talk about these topics daily.
• Ability to work independently and manage a part-time schedule effectively.
