Solar installation company closing commercial deals and our sales team needs operational support handling everything between initial interest and signed contracts. You would keep our sales pipeline moving by coordinating site surveys, preparing quotes, and tracking deals through the process.
Sales support workflow
Prepare detailed solar quotes using our pricing models calculating system size, equipment costs, and installation estimates. Coordinate site surveys scheduling engineers to visit properties and assess roof conditions and electrical systems. Update CRM tracking where each opportunity stands in the pipeline keeping sales reps informed. Gather documentation from clients including utility bills, property details, and financing information. Follow up with prospects who requested quotes checking if they have questions or are ready to move forward. Build proposal presentations pulling together system designs, financial projections, and contract terms. Process signed contracts coordinating handoff from sales to installation teams. Track key metrics showing quote-to-close rates, average deal size, and sales cycle length.
Experienced sales ops needed
Background in sales operations or coordinator role ideally in construction, home improvement, or solar industry. Comfortable with CRM systems like Salesforce managing pipeline data accurately. Strong Excel skills building quotes, tracking metrics, and analyzing sales performance. Detail-oriented preparing error-free quotes since mistakes cost money or lose deals. Excellent at multitasking juggling multiple opportunities at different pipeline stages simultaneously. Professional communication coordinating between sales reps, engineers, and prospects smoothly. Available US business hours when sales activity happens and clients expect quick responses. Understanding of solar or renewable energy helpful but not required if you learn quickly.
