Job Description

We run a telehealth platform and the biggest drop-off happens right after someone signs up. People create accounts but then get confused about how to book appointments, upload insurance, or actually use the platform. Need someone walking new patients through everything so they stick around.

What you would do

Call or message new patients within 24 hours of signup welcoming them and offering to help set up their account. Walk them through booking their first appointment, uploading insurance cards, and filling out medical history. Verify insurance eligibility so patients know what is covered before they see a doctor. Answer questions about how our platform works, what services we offer, and how billing works. Troubleshoot technical issues when patients cannot log in or access features. Follow up with patients who started onboarding but did not finish getting them over the finish line. Track where patients get stuck in the process so we can fix confusing parts. Coordinate with our clinical team when patients have specific medical questions or requests.

Who we need

Experienced working in healthcare settings and comfortable talking to patients about medical stuff. You understand insurance verification and eligibility checks without needing training. You are patient and empathetic when people are frustrated or confused about technology. You can explain complicated processes in simple terms that anyone understands. You are organized keeping track of which patients need follow-up and when. You work US hours and respond quickly since patients expect fast help. Bonus if you have used telehealth platforms before and understand how they work.
