Job Description
B2B SaaS product getting decent traffic but conversion rates from visitor to trial signup are lower than they should be. Need someone systematically testing and improving our funnel with data-backed changes, not just opinions about what might work better.
Optimization process
Analyze current funnel identifying where visitors drop off between landing and signup. Run A/B tests on landing pages testing headlines, copy, CTAs, and page layouts. Experiment with signup flows removing friction and testing different field requirements. Test pricing page variations seeing what presentation drives more trial starts. Optimize onboarding reducing time to first value so trials convert to paid customers. Use heatmaps and session recordings understanding how users actually interact with pages. Build hypotheses based on data not assumptions about what changes might improve conversions. Calculate statistical significance ensuring test results are valid before implementing winners. Document all tests and results building knowledge base of what works for our audience.
Extensive CRO experience required
Deep background optimizing B2B SaaS funnels with portfolio showing conversion improvements you drove. Expertise running proper A/B tests understanding sample sizes, statistical significance, and test duration. Proficiency with testing tools like Google Optimize, VWO, or Optimizely. Strong analytical skills using Google Analytics identifying bottlenecks in conversion funnels. Experience with heatmaps and session recording tools like Hotjar or FullStory. Understanding of B2B buyer psychology knowing what drives business purchase decisions. Case studies or proof showing specific conversion rate improvements with before/after data. Comfortable working independently designing and executing tests without constant direction.
