Construction bookkeeping experience

4+ years doing bookkeeping ideally for construction, contracting, or project-based businesses. Strong QuickBooks skills since that is our accounting system for everything. Understanding of job costing tracking profitability by individual projects. Experience with accounts payable and receivable managing payment cycles. Detail-oriented catching errors in transactions before they affect financial reports. Organized handling multiple projects with separate budgets and expense tracking. Available US business hours for questions from project managers and coordination with our accountant. Comfortable with construction-specific expenses like materials, equipment rentals, and subcontractor payments.
